Here you will find a little bit of information about myself and my Family.

 

First things first, my name is Amie Geyer. I have been married to my husband Jordan since May of 2006. We now have two beautiful boys. I have always had a passion for children. I started babysitting at the age of 12. I also started Figure Skating at the age of 12 and have been in love with it ever since. I have been coaching private and group figure skating lessons since March of 2001 to children from the age of 2 and up. This inspired me to move further with my passion for children so I decided to get my CDA (Child Development Associate) and found a job working as a lead teacher at a private preschool for two years. I loved it so much that I wanted to open up my own home daycare!

 

I have now had Puzzle Place Daycare LLC since 2006. I am looking forward to continuing my passion and someday opening up a center. In the meantime, I am continuing my education in early childhood development by taking 4.5 CEU’s every year. I also make sure that I am up to date with all my qualifications and state regulations.  I hope this helps you in understanding my background and I look forward to hearing from you. Here are some of my personal achievements

 

• Awarded my CDA Certificate in September of 2006
• Awarded Super Star Certificate in recognition for extraordinary efforts to raise money for the 2008 Start! Heart Walk Columbus, Ohio.
• CPR and First Aid Certified
