Puzzle Place Daycare has been in business since 2006. I believe that every child has a place to fit in, no matter what. Whether gently holding an infant, encouraging toddlers to share, or providing preschoolers with a variety of enriching activities, I make sure to support the healthy development of children from six weeks to six years.

My In-Home center has hands-on areas that include music, science, math, creative art, writing, and dramatic play. I also set up my learning space with theme-related materials to engage children at each stage of their development. The children are taught the basic principles of sharing and playing together as well. We also watch developmental DVD's as well as age appropriate television shows. I encourage parents to bring their own types of media that their children enjoy, to share with the rest of the kids!
I provide breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. Breakfast is over
by 8:00AM and lunch is usually served around 11:30AM. I try to stay on schedule as much as possible but each day may slightly differ. Soon after lunch comes nap-time, in which the children can rest from their busy morning! Shortly after nap-time we have afternoon snack, and before you know it, the parents are back to pick-up!
My bright classroom and large playground area create the backdrop for a learning environment where children of all ages can play and find an activity to do. We also do activities outside when the weather permits. Such activities include playing with outdoor toys, and playing interactive learning games. We also will have special 'water' days, in which the kids can play in an age-appropriate water table. If the weather does not permit, we always have things we do inside, such as making art projects, listening/ dancing to music, or watching a special video! Each and every day is filled with activities that will make your child learn by participating at their own pace.
